What worries me most is that two random people both had deadly weapons on them that they chose to draw over a parking space

Yay, you're better at recalling traumatic memories when you're drunk enough to lament them!

Victorian sex guide

Yecth, am I ever glad I washed myself of that horrible, evil few days. The new bead fit (it's 1 or 2mm too big, but ennh), my work here is done. Finally changed my clothes, showered, shaved, took care of the nastiness that comes with leaving your house abruptly (like leftovers turning in to science experiments on the kitchen counter). Anyway, I'm still a bit behind. My amp appears to be inoperable at the moment. I popped the fuses to get a closer look at the filament and to get their ratings, all of them were fine. I popped them back in, screwed down the speaker wiring, turned it on. Wow, look at that, it works. I spend the next 1/2 hour jacking everything back in, power it back up, it works. FOR TEN MINUTES. Then it blows again, this time I don't even have a standby light, it's torched. One of two things could be causing this. One, Jiji ate the power cord. Two, one of the five-way binding posts seems to have broken last time I tightened them. See the little plastic grips that sleeve over the gold-plated nut? One has separated from the nut, so there's no way to tighten it effectively. I did the best I could using downward force, noticed a little less volume from the affected speaker. So I call Almas. Their tech is in from 9 until 3:30. WTF?!? So I'm going to arrange for a binding post repair, new power cord, and general lookover some time next week. For the moment, I'm without high fidelity. FFX sounds like crap, it's overall less engaging to play. Argh.
Other than that, things are looking up. Tasty lunch with Rob, dinner tonight in A2 with the folks. Work is boring for the most part, but I feel needed. Been in kind of a philosophical mood, going over my entire perspective and frame of thought. Modifications are necessary, time-delay circuits are sorely needed. Gestalt is a beautiful thing, I must keep that in mind.
