[waveform |Wumpscut - Wreath of Bobs]

I swear, this is exactly how I hear the lyrics to :W:'s "Wreath of Barbs". It's not supposed to make any sense.

Oh the burning and the froth
Pissing forever through the night
And this flaming pile of shit
ravages, and the piss will pass

Fighting, writing, take it away
Needles above the bris
Wreath of Bobs

The injection of raisins
has a caramel-like effect
And the bobbies, they rain decay
Dreaming of a greener day

Fighting, writing, take it away
Needles above the bris
Wreath of Bobs

Open eyes, reading nothing
This guy knows whores, he's black
It bleeds, oh it bleeds in this wreath of Bobs
Got the runs, the runs, but I don't eat fries (don't get fries, don't get far)

Furthermore, does anyone else think this is Rudi's attempt to sound like Enigma? I swear he sampled that drum line right out of Cross of Changes.

Those lyrics make the song like a dozen times better.

And yeah, he ripped the drum loop from Enigma. Again, it makes his shit music somewhat better.

heehee. well, I wasn't too interested in hearing this song before now, but I'd pay good money to hear Rudy talk about having the runs.

I think they sound a bit different. I think he's having the problems with the rounding of sounds that the vocoder tends to give things. I'm consulting a linguistics major about what it's called. Oh, it seems that it doesn't have a name. Oh well.

With my experience with synthesized voices, it takes a lot of phonic tweaking to get them to sound right, their pronunciation isn't always completely accurate. Then, you have accent of the people who coded it, which in this case would probably be British people. Then, you have the fact that it's not Rudi's native language, further complicating things. You have a German trying to make a British-accented voice synthesizer sound right in a US-released song.
