Further evidence that you should never smoke and dial

But I thought taking bees and CO2 cartridges onboard would be ok!

I helped the lovely lady feel better. We went down to the hospital last night to get her illness diagnosed, and it turned out to be an ear infection. Standard cure was prescribed, so she'll be feeling better in no time. Took the rest of the night off to relax, which was definitely nice. Now we just have to make sure the cure works as it should.
batwinged is far beyond keen. We got lots of banter in over lunch today, and she offered to help P and I paint my apartment. This makes my whole life cooler. If we can get one more person, we can have a team of two in two rooms at a time, cutting work time in half. Spiffage. Good to know she still exists, and in fact she's doing well. Tonight, I'm a busy man. Cleaning my EGR valve. I'll be heading out shortly to pick up a bottle brush, then I'm going to remove and soak the unit in mineral spirits. Once that's done it's thing, I'm going to air it out, hose a load of carb cleaner in it, and use the brush to get it spick and span. Then, a quick spurt of carb cleaner down the EGR tubing, more brushwork, and I'm more or less done. Turn the engine over to blow out the loosened scum, re-seat the valve, I'm good to go. I actually turkey-basted my excess coolant out this afternoon, so I've got less to do tonight.
Once I'm done with that, it's off to Ann Arbor to meet up with the lady I'm building a PC for. I've hacked out a plan for a pretty slick Athlon XP2000+/512mb PC333/80GB RAID0 box, all for less than $1250. It's going to be a real monster, too. Custom case with a plexiglass side window, blue neon lighting, CPU/PSU fans with embedded LEDs in the fins. I'll probably be getting payment tonight, which means placing the orders this weekend. Once the components get here, should take about 2 hours to build, two hours to OS, and an hour to set it up in her home. $25/hour isn't bad.

Semi interesting sidenote: The link to the " silent song law suit" .... I wonder if that guy is going to sue Boards of Canada for their track " Magic Window" . Whatever those asses were trying to say... I think boards did it better. hah

Oh and another thing pertaining to the machine your building. Are the LED cpu fans custom? If not, then what company makes them?

You know I've been looking to build a new machine for quite some time... just haven't had the $$. summer is here, I should be able to get it by the end of the summer if I can save. Anyway, I wanted the insides to be pretty, (No doubt I was going to put plexiglass on the sides of the case!) but if I can snag some of the same blue LED fans it'd probably work out better than all the TT fans. lemme know bro

YS Tech makes them along with a few other companies, I'm getting them from The 2CoolTek store. Lame name, good prices. Might want to check out Plycon, too.

Case from <a href="http://www.colorcases.com">ColorCases</a>, fans/grill/heatsink from <a href="http://www.2cooltek.com">2CoolTek</a>, PSU from <a href="http://www.hansworkshop.com"</a>Han's Workshop</a>. Yeah, I could buy a lesser PSU and solder down my own fans, but it's not going on my bill...
