Holy crap, Mozilla made a browser that's actually faster, and it works. Hooray for open source. Also, my job is still cool, it wasn't just the usual snowjob my company puts on hew hires. I had to walk a user through identifying redundant PSUs and tell me if any of them had failed over, but it certainly could have gone worse. Then again, she might have been talking about the drives in the RAID array, they've got "little green lights and knobby things that look like you could put your finger trough them to pull them out, but don't do that". Soon enough, we'll have rights to log in to the DRAC cards for full-on hardware-based remote administration, no more of this flimsy TermServ poo. As of March, I'll be a Senior Network Administrator, responsible for 352 file&print servers across at least three countries, maybe more as time goes by. Now, if I only had rights to re-join the machine I was using that somehow managed to lose it's domain account (gee, could it be the local site admin who's pissed about me formerly being his back-up, now being his superior?)...
