The Veritable TechNinja
NOTE TO SELF: Next time you think to yourself "this sucks, it'd be easier and faster to just reload my machine than sort out this annoying (but functional) sound card driver issue", it's NOT.
Ever spent three hours going through bad boot disks, mysterious "the error code is 7" messages, and unbootable "bootable CDs" before you got a working 2K install, just to immediately torch the partition table again because you can't resize the primary partition, even though you've set it up as a dynamic disc? AUGH. Now I'm sitting through a FAT format of a 60GB drive just so 2K can have a fixed disk for a swap file long enough to load the setup program, then promptly kicking in to an equally slow-ass conversion to NTFS5. The question becomes sleep now, install 2K tomorrow; or finish the whole damn thing and likely get an hour of sleep, max.
