[What year was it?]
1998

[What were your three favorite bands?]
KMFDM, Covenant, VNV Nation

[What was your favorite outfit?]
I don't really remember. I could have given two shits about clothing back then.

[What was up with your hair?]
Down to my shoulders, striking fear in to the hearts of rubber bands everywhere.

[Who were your best friends?]
Tom (ubergeek, Anime fanatic, blogger), Amber (metalhead cum Joy Division fan, mspogo), Adam (Punk guitarist, bandmate, recovry) , Matt (comic nerd turned jigolo, Judo sparring partner, now college professor and professional atrist), Butler (Umm... He's just Butler.)

[What did you do after school?]
Hung out at the comic shop, sat on IRC, played Quake.

[Where did you work?]
Staples in Adrian

[Did you take the bus?]
By that time I had the Tore-Ass. Still miss that piece of crap.

[Who did you have a crush on?]
Psycho-ex.

[Did you fight with your parents?]
A lot less than the year before, as usual.

[Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?]
I have no idea. Probably Christina Ricci.

[Did you smoke cigarettes?]
Sampoerna X-Tras. Ugh.

[Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?]
Yes, but I did so because it was a waste of time to put everything back just to come get it again in an hour or two.

[Did you have a 'clique'?]
More like anti-clique, but kind of. Not too many people tried to befriend all of us.

[Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater?]
Does Fuji before going to Animania count?

[Admit it, were you popular?]
Sweet lord no. I got picked on just about the most of anyone in school.

[Who did you want to be just like?]
Nobody. Modeling your life after someone else's is a surefire plan for failure.

[What did you want to be when you grew up?]
At that point I think I tried to convince myself I wanted to do graphic design.

[Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?]
This far ahead is unimaginable. I kind of figured I'd be married and working towards a good job. Big surprise, here I am.

I know, I'm already making fun of college students. I remember when I couldn't even imagine what college would really be like. We're hella old. BTW, I still have that huge tape full of Beavis & Butthead episodes you gave me. How are you and Don doing?

Don and I are doing pretty good. We are getting ready to go house hunting very soon. Hopefully we'll find something that suits us well. How are you and The missus doing? I'll talk to you later.

Ooh, spiff. Still in Adrian? Anyway, we're doing great, Preety's going to WCC for her HR certificate and doing a bunch of interviews. I'm starting a new DJ residency at Labyrinth next Thursday. Things are good.
