LightScribe has a few problems. One, there's no freeware that suppports it. Two, it requires host interface drivers that are both software and hardware proprietary, and the installer packages don't seem very comprehensive in telling you what they support and what they don't, as well as not providing any kind of version control. Third, it's FUCKING SLOW AS ALL HELL. Seriously. Half an hour for a 600DPI image on a 4 1/2" disc. HP, I don't like you very much any more.

Oh, and it doesn't fucking work, either. Lovely, a half hour wasted.
