How is it possible that you've eaten snake, but not a hot dog from a street vendor -- in spite of wanting to? One of the reasons we moved to Ann Arbor is that the street hot dog vendors all had veggie dogs. We thought this must be heaven.

I had snake on vacation in Florida, but I've just never been hungry while wandering a city with hot dog carts in the immediate vicinity. I live to eat, so generally I end up planning meals instead of ending up hungry when I see a cart. Definitely want to try one in NYC when I finally go there some day.
