Bills are not my friend. DTE _still_ can't figure out where I live or what my phone number is, then they tell me my card was declined. Dumbasses. In other news, Skies of Arcadia is rocking my ass. Finally, a(nother) non-Square RPG that's neither short, gimmicky, or boring. The whole pirates thing is a little lame, but they don't push it too hard. I'd liken it to FF9, definitely. The characters are likeable, which is what put me off FF8. Only problem is that I need a battery for my VMU to play this "Pinta Quest" minigame. Guess that gives me something to do at work next week.

Wow, I thought I was the only one that has played that game. The minute I started playing it I was hooked. The only gripe I have with that game is that the pirate ship battles are way too hard, other than that, it is one of the best rpg's that I have ever played.

So far, I haven't found them _that_ hard, I've never lost a ship battle yet, but I did lose against the executioner the first time. It's mostly the fact that repair kits aren't available to buy yet. I'm guessing I'm not even 25% done, as I just got to the desert continent after escaping Valua, on the first disc, and I'm 8 hours in. Now that I actually know someone who's played it, is the pinta quest thing actually worth it? I mean, are there really worthwhile items to get, and is the actual game irritating to play?

I personally didn't think the items were worthwhile and I did find the game irritating to play. Wow, you are only 8hrs in, I put over 50hrs into that game, it is very long, but I didn't lose interest for one second.

But is the minigame any fun?
