The Veritable TechNinja
Here's your mission for today: what cheesy, played out industrial track is 4/4 at 107BPM? I have something insidious to do. It may or may not involve jiggyness, but I'm not telling.
I think at least the "V3.0" mix is 123PBM, but there's like 800 remixes and one's bound to be a harmonic. I did find out that the new Stromkern single works, it's even in the same key. Sweet jeebus is this going to be horrible.
I know NIN - Closer is like 95 BPM? If you adjust tempo as opposed to pitch you could probably swing it up to 105 without getting too much distortion.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Too many Closer mashups already, plus it's really not all that great of a song.
Join in the chant...
Just a guess I do not have the BPM info.
Try the following:
107 Birmingham 6 Godlike
Dude you should have gotten that one!!!
107 Project Pitchfork Souls In Ice
107 Stromkern Stand Up
and while not industrial -
107 Cure, The Why Cant I Be You? (US-remix)
107 Massive Attack Angel
16 Volt - Motorskill is 109 BPM and has a ton of nice breaks... picthc it down and make it creepy :)
Motorskill is tempting, but I'd be more likely to use the original version of Godlike. Stand Up is in the same key, which just makes my job easier. Coming to Ed's tonight?
Ooh, and how about 125BPM... Ass23's Naked, Theremin, Headhunter 2000, KMFDM's Naive, _and_ Oh My Goth. I'll give you one guess what song I'm going to stitch them all in to. It's something I've been talking about wanting to remix for a long time, and people are still having it.
