Using your current initials, choose a different name for yourself:
Karl Christopher Dietrich

If you were born outside of your era, when would you want to be born and why?
I like my era. Maybe in 2009 for TV to catch up with PC video.

If you ran a store, what would you sell/have?
High-end AV equipment. Krell, Mark Levinson, Wilson, Martin Logan, Vidikron, Runco...

What part in a movie would you love to play?
I thought Johnny Depp's part in Ninth Gate was fitting to my personality.

In your opinion, why do people suck?
Because they don't care enough about other people and think they can get away with lying to eachother.

If you had your own state, what would you put on your new quarter?
A holographic cypher, American money is insecure

What's your biggest guilty pleasure dealing with music?
Fantastic Plastic Machine.

What's the oldest article of clothing you own?
I have a henley shirt that I got in my Sophomore year of high school. It's stretched to hell and full of holes, but I love it.

What piece of furniture have you replaced the most?
Computer chair, I think. Fuck, I don't want to think about furniture any more.

What type of art do you think more people should support?
Any music label but Metropolis Records.

What instrument do you wish you could be more than great at?
I suck at guitar. I really wish I was talented enough to sing and play at the same time.

Record, Tape, or CD?
Records, as long as they're played on a _good_ system. DVD-Audio otherwise.

What do you think would be the best concert ever? (max: 4 bands)
Diatribe, Hate Dept, Acumen Nation, Chemlab.

What's the best part of your favorite movie?
The airport scene in Fifth Element? I have too many favorites.

What do you think is the most over-rated candy ever?
Jolly Ranchers. They're just sticky and overpowering with fake flavors.

If you were writing out your will, who would you give your CD collection to?
Preety, definitely.

If you could only debate two topics the rest of your life, what would they be?
Philosophy and music.

Out of your friends, who would you say you are most jealous of, artistically?
m_saint and his m4d design sk1llz.

Most jealous of... socially?
Dunno... darkborne? I wouldn't want that kind of obligation, though.

What do you collect?
Anime cels, action figures, video games.

What is broken that you have, that you wish was fixed?
My couch, so I wouldn't have to pull all the upholstery up to fix the frame before I sell it.

What do you do when you're home sick?
Play video games, watch The Price is Right, sleep a lot.

In other news, got the TV delivered and the sectional ordered. I may or may not have to buy the dresser, that'll be determined tonight. Parents are being dumb about the bedframe, I think I jumped the gun in asking for a birthday present so soon. Nightstands and papasan chair are available any time, lamps are going to be carried over from the existing apartment, media rack and barstools are on hold.
Found out the Victrola was a dud and isn't worth much, so that's now $50 u-haul-it. It's still a great conversation piece for any music lover. TV is spoken for, couch is still unconfirmed, need a buyer for the entertainment center ($75 u-haul-it) and bedrame/dresser (fuck, I don't care, make an offer). Found a set of home theater speakers from NHT that's affordable and critically acclaimed, and I can pre-listen at my local NHT dealer. Finding a second-hand Arcam isn't going to be easy. I only found one AVR200 for sale, and it's the British model and may not be 110v compatible. International shipping would be a bitch, too. Now, I have to switch the utilities over to my name (whoops, forgot to do that, I've technically had the apartment for 11 days now).

Ha, how big is your tv? My boyfriend just moved out and he just got a 61" hdtv. It's really massive... and it had to be moved up 3 floors.
